FAQ

Why isn't my ride on the feed?

It needs a photo and a caption. Tap your activity and add both.

How do I upload rides?

Activity tab → Upload. Drop a .FIT file from your bike computer, or a ZIP export from your other cycling app. If you use Wahoo, connect it in Settings for auto-sync.

How do segment leaderboards work?

Each segment has a seasonal leaderboard that resets every few months. When you upload a ride that passes through a segment, your time is extracted automatically. You can filter by age and gender.

How do I install the Android app?

Tap the Android button to download the APK file. When it finishes, tap the download notification or find the file in your Downloads folder. Your phone will ask you to allow installs from this source — tap Allow, then Install. You only need to do this once. After that, updates are automatic.

Can I share this with someone else?

Please do! The more people testing, the better the feed and rider discovery works. Just send them this page.

What about e-bikes and downhill MTB?

Grupeta is built for road and gravel cycling right now. E-bike rides and downhill MTB won't match well against segment leaderboards — the timing and effort data works differently. We'd love to support them properly in the future, but for now the segment and leaderboard features are designed around pedal-powered riding.
